Touched was established back in February 2004 during a raging snowstorm and as a group of musicians tried to survive the weather a superior rock coverband emerged.... No actually, Touched was the brainchild of Christine Greenawalt as she sat amidst a room full of musical equipment and the marketing knowledge she possessed after doing PR and booking for tribute bands such as M-80 and Rocktagon. Christine started playing with idea of singing this time after developing a love of karaoke (little did she know that singing in a live band and "singing" karaoke were two totally different talents!!!) After meeting a young, pseudo bassist named Lacey and taking in a roommate named Jeremy who played drums (but really wasn't interested in this band's direction), Christine decided to jump in and create TOUCHED. A website, setlist, and band was created...now it needed musicians!!! Lacey was hired as the bassist, Johnny Rockstar, from Rocktagon, was brought in on drums...and a guitarist named Chris Terp auditioned to an empty room of untrained musicians as the missing link...He took on the musical concentration of the band. Boy, time has changed things!!! Almost 5 years have passed, and with a few lineup changes, here they are: one of Worcester's Top Coverbands. The current lineup still consists of the Chris 1 on vocals, Chris 2 on guitars and vocals, Mike on guitars and vocals, Paul on Drums and John on Bass. Boasting tight harmonies and guitars, this band is worth seeing more than once! Every show is different and exciting!! The songlist has grown into the hundreds and the band can adapt to almost any music type...Oldies, Dance Rock, Classic, and some current. Sometimes heavy sometimes lighter but always a great time!!! TOUCHED was interviewed for The Pulse Magazine's Up & Comers Section in August of 2007. . TOUCHED was nominated for Worcester Magazine's Turtle Boy Awards for 2007 as "Best CoverBand" so THANK YOU to all our fans!!!
